About EMADA

The Extraction Manufacturers and Designers Association (EMADA) is an association of professional companies involved in the design, manufacture and installation of extraction and LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems who are working in conjunction with Health and Safety organisations to support the reduction of work related respiratory health by ensuring improvements in LEV in the workplace.

Association members will promote good practice and standards both for systems and people, to ensure industry receives the best solutions.

Manufacturers will ensure that information is clear about equipment, system technical performance, maintenance and testing.

EMADA aim to promote the use of properly designed and installed LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems, by raising the awareness, standard and quality of LEV systems used by industry.

EMADA will act as a focal point for the industry, to share matters of concern, to discuss industry issues (present and future) and to drive forward initiatives aimed at improving workplace air quality to ensure there is a benchmark for new systems and act as one voice for the LEV manufacturing industry.
